Join Doug at the Your Best Garden Ever symposium on Saturday April 5
The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County will host a full-day garden workshop April 5 at New Covenant EPC Church at 1911 Harlansburg Road.
“Your Best Garden Ever Symposium” will be presented from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with author, producer and television host Doug Oster giving instructions on how to create a thriving and beautiful garden. He will provide insight into selecting plants suited to your garden’s conditions.
Explore the art of bulb gardening for year-round blooms with Joan Kugler, Penn State Master Gardener of Allegheny County.
Martha Swiss of Plant Some Joy will present perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees that attract pollinators. A presentation on the Survivor 9/11 Trees, a story of resilience and renewal.
The cost for this program is $50 and includes a light breakfast, lunch buffet (with vegetarian and special diet needs options), beverages and a workshop packet. There will also be a silent auction and a variety of vendors.
