This year’s Fall Flower Show, Rhythm & Blooms opens Saturday October 5, 1024 and closes on October 27, 2024. That’s only three weeks to enjoy the displays of chrysanthemums inspired by music.

Each room is offers a different type of music, from rock and roll to classical, jazz, hip hop and others.

I've been friends with Dave Foreman for over two decades. He's one of my hot pepper heroes. I've seen him eat a 'Carolina Reaper' pepper. When I started growing 'Pimenta Bela Purple' I wondered which one of my hot pepper buddies would want to try them. I knew Dave would be on the list.

I planted a 'Pimenta Bela Purple' hot pepper, which I picked up at Soergel's Garden Center. It's rated at one million Scovilles, which is hot. I also gave a plant to my friend Dave Taiclet (Hot Pepper Dave). His did not do as well as mine as the deer were after it. So I brought over a bag of the pepper and he had to try one.
