This week I’m covering a lot of ground, showing off my favorite basil, planting peas for a fall harvest along with a variety of cool weather plants. I’m also showing off more low maintenance, cool plants, which are thriving. After discovering a weird green growth on some tree bark, Rob Kruljac from the Davey Tree Expert Company saves the day again!

This week I’m welcoming Ashley Mariani from Pitt Moss to the garden as we both plant a cool in a new product, the PopUp Garden. Rob Kruljac from the Davey Tree Expert Company saves the day by diagnosing problems for my beloved Japanese pieris and flowering crabapple. Rob also shows a trick anyone can do to determine if their plants are infested with mites.

This week follow me on a tour of the unique and wonderful garden of Kevin Prall who lives north of Pittsburgh in New Kensington. The centerpiece of Kevin's garden has to be the giant palm tree that stays outside in the garden all year long. You won't believe what he does to keep it alive.
